Our urban forest (including our front and back-yard trees) is beautiful, practical and valuable.

The Beach Hill Neighbourhood Association (BHNA) Tree Team works to protect and enhance this vital community asset - for ourselves, for visitors, for our children and grandchildren.

The tree team organizing committee for 2015-2016 is:

Susan Butler, Louise Dixon, Drew Graham, Jane Irwin, Joanne Lombardo, Gail Raynard, Donna Warrender. We welcome new members!

Following our successful launch in 2013, we continue our efforts to raise awareness of the value of trees and their importance to our city.

We have conducted Tree Care 101 training with LEAF and Danforth East Community Association and carried out door-to-door "plant a tree" canvassing. We also distribute free mulch annually at Fairmount Park Farm Market.

Our focus has been on engaging as many neighbours as possible to keep our existing trees alive and healthy.
